Going to the studio, we promised ourselves we would go with what came out. Most of the time you're writing for radio, you're writing for a label, you're writing to stick a hit, and you end up coming out with something that isn't necessarily genuine.
We were comforted that we were coming out with something that was original and felt like us.
Back then, the sister pop duo Alyson and Amanda Joy were a teen band signed with Disney's Hollywood Records.
What is the collaborative process like between you two?
AJ: We’re both really different and have different strengths, weaknesses and voices we bring to writing sessions.
"No one knows he was my first kiss," she told Buzz Feed. I hereby dub them AJoe, Disney Channel's most underappreciated couple.
"I'm pretty sure I was his, too."Aly remembers it just as clearly as AJ, apparently.
But then, in January 2016 in a break between between shows, a shared love for music called them back.
